The School of Fashion & Art Design was established in 2012. It has approximately 860 full-time students studying in four specialties, namely the specialty of fashion design, modern textile technology, advertising design & facture and industrial design. Among these specialties, the specialty of fashion design is considered having superiority in Zhejiang Province, the specialty of modern textile technology and industrial design are considered distinctive in Zhejiang Province. Currently, the school has 46 faculty members, among whom 10 are associate or full professors, 24 are qualified in more than one area.

Ø The School of Fashion and Art Design has established two industry-university-research communities, namely, silk college and fashion design college, and several training bases outside the campus, including Jiaxin Silk Group Co. LTD, Zhejiang EP Group Co. LTD, China Haining Leather Market Co. LTD, Tongxiang Puyuan Sweater Market, etc. It was awarded “the China Textile and Apparel Industry Talent Training Base" by China Textile and Apparel Industry Federation and China Textile and Apparel Education Association.
Ø Students have achieved excellent results in various skills competitions at all levels, accumulatively won 3 national first prizes, 3 national second prizes, 3 national third prizes and more than 10 provincial awards. Students possess solid professional knowledge, favorable professional quality and strong professional skills. The employment rate of graduates continues to remain above 98%, which means our graduates are well received by enterprises.
